Women of Influence: Daughters of the King is a place where women in every life stage can find a place to belong. There is a genuine care and concern for one another among the women at Ridge. There are also many opportunities to connect with other women, grow in Christ, and develop your own special gifts.
Several large group events take place during the year. The Fall Breakaway and Ridge Retreat are both opportunities for women to get away and be refreshed in the presence of God. The Christmas Cookie exchange is a wonderful time of holiday fun and fellowship.
Small group activities consist of shopping excursions, lunch dates, and prayer and Bible study groups. We play a vital part in the success of the church by working together in small groups to plan and facilitate large church events such as the Fall Festival and the Anniversary Celebration.
Mentoring is a large part of Women of Influence. Those who are more mature or experienced take time to guide and encourage others. The women share everything from cooking tips to baby clothes. More importantly, they share the love of Christ by blessing a shut-in with a meal and some fellowship, supporting a family through a time of grief, or surprising a young mother with a baby shower.
The vision of Women of Influence at Ridge Assembly is to impact the lives of women by directing them to a personal relationship with Jesus Christ. Empowered by the Holy Spirit, each woman is encouraged to build a firm foundation on God’s word, to stir up her God-given gifts, and to boldly claim victory over her life and her family.
