The Greeters ministry, here at Ridge Assembly, is not only welcoming people, but a ministry of kindness.
Kindness to new people who don`t feel comfortable and don`t know their way around.
Kindness to the elderly who feel alone or have difficulty in moving around the church.
Kindness to children who are outside a zone of comfort.
Kindness to mothers with babies or toddlers.
Kindness to people who show up every week.
Kindness to people with special problems or needs.
It is a privilege and rewarding for us to serve the Lord in the greeters ministry. It is a great way to meet and minister to people.
Our prayer and desire is, that our hand be as the glove of Jesus, as we reach out to greet
a person.
Better is one day in your courts than a thousand elsewhere; I would rather
be a doorkeeper in the house of my God than dwell in the tents of the
